We are excited to announce the details of the 2026 Summer Swim Program!

Our program is designed to offer engaging and educational swimming lessons for all age groups, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Program Highlights:

  • Comprehensive Swim Lessons: Tailored lessons for different skill levels, from Parent and Tot 1 through to Swimmer 9.
  • Certified Instructors: Our experienced and certified instructors will ensure the highest standards of swim education and safety.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Multiple time slots to accommodate various schedules

2026 Swimming Lesson Package

2026 Group Swimming Lessons

Make a splash this summer with our 2026 Group Swimming Lessons at Waubuno Beach. Our outdoor lessons are a great way for children and youth to build confidence in the water, improve their swimming skills, and enjoy learning in a fun, supportive environment on Georgian Bay.

Programs are led by qualified instructors and designed for a range of ages and abilities. 

Registration Opens: Friday, May 15, 2026 at 10:00AM 

Registration is available through the following methods: 

Online (preferred): Online registration will be available on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10AM

In Person: Visit the Town Office, 52 Seguin Street, Parry Sound during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm). Registrations will be time stamped on acceptance on Friday, May 15, 2026 after 10:00AM 

Mail: Mail in registrations should be sent to: Town of Parry Sound, ATTN Jayme Young, 52 Seguin Street, Parry Sound, Ontario, P2A1B4

Daily Sessions (DS) run everyday, Monday-Friday

  • Daily Session 1 (DS1): July 6-July 17
  • Daily Session 2 (DS2): July 20- July 31
  • Daily Session 3 (DS3): August 3-August 14 

Evening Sessions (ES) run on the identified dates for four weeks 

  • ES1A: Monday/Wednesday: July 6-July 29
  • ES1B: Tuesday/Thursday: July 7-July 30
  • ES2A: Monday/Wednesday: August 3-August 26
  • ES2B: Tuesday/Thursday: August 4-August 27

**Swimming Lessons take place rain or shine. In the event that the weather is no appropriate for in water lessons- instructors will teach water safety and dry land training.

Please note: 

  • Class times are subject to change based on registration and staffing. 
  • Additional classes may be added based on registration. 
  • Levels may be combined as necessary to algin with staffing and registration. 
  • Instructors have the authority to adjust class lists and necessary based on observed skill level. 
  • parents are required to participate in the water with children in Parent & Tot levels.

  • Resident Rate: $60.00
  • Non-Resident Rate: $70.00

Swimmer 3-Swimmer 9: 

  • Resident Rate: $70.00
  • Non-Resident Rate: $80.00

2026 Private Swimming Lessons

Our private swimming lessons are tailored to meet the individual needs of each swimmer, whether you’re a beginner hoping to build confidence in the water or an experienced swimmer looking to refine your technique. Led by certified instructors, our sessions provide one-on-one coaching to help you or your child achieve your swimming goals in a supportive and safe environment. 

Private Swimming Lesson Requests will open on Friday, May 22 at 10AM. 

Important: Your request submission will be accommodated based on the availability of our swimming instructors. Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee a lesson reservation.

Duration Options:

  • Choose from ten 30-minute sessions or five 60-minute sessions to tailor the experience to your personal learning pace and availability.

Flexible Scheduling:

  • Our lessons are scheduled at your convenience in consultation with our Aquatic Coordinator, ensuring that sessions fit seamlessly into your lifestyle.

Personalized Instruction:

  • Each session is designed to focus on individual goals and skill levels, providing targeted instruction that maximizes progress and enjoyment.

Instructor Consultation:

  • Before starting, our Aquatic Coordinator will discuss your swimming objectives and any specific concerns to customize your lesson plan effectively.

Resident Rate: $180.00

Non-resident Rate: $200.00

Bronze Level Courses

Interested in Bronze-level training?

Click here to complete the online interest form to let us know. This is not registration, but it will help us assess demand and plan future Bronze-level courses. Participants will be contacted if programs are offered.
